TEI received funding from the U.N. International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to develop a curriculum syllabus for monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) training focusing on the evaluation challenges of rural development. This syllabus will be used to develop a training curriculum that will be available across the IFAD funded portfolio (Latin and South America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia).
TEI continues to work with the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) in evaluating countermeasures used to reduce and mitigate suicides occurring on the railroad rights-of-way. In collaboration with the VOLPE, National Transportation Systems Center, TEI has worked to support the activities of the development of the Global Railway Alliance for Suicide Prevention (GRASP).
TEI is partnering with IMPAQ International (Implementing Partner) on a USAID funded project in Bosnia and Herzegovina (MEASURE BiH) to strengthen local M&E capacity and to develop a Center of Excellence (CoE) in evaluation and applied social science research in the Bosnian region. TEI is providing evaluation training to approximately 40 Center of Excellence Fellows, all of whom are working toward the completion of the TEI Certificate of Evaluation Practice.
