Dr. Kantahyanee Murray is the Senior Associate Director in the Center for Culturally Responsive Engagement (CCRE) at MPHI. She collaborates with partners across multiple sectors to dismantle inequities through research, evaluation, learning, training, and strategy development.  Kantahyanee is committed to shifting power to marginalized communities to advance equity.  She leads CCRE’s shifting power in philanthropy portfolio and the REALize Power initiative which engages philanthropy and nonprofit leaders in capacity strengthening opportunities. In prior work at the Annie E. Casey Foundation, she led field building work to advance racial equity and inclusion in research and evaluation. Kantahyanee has over 20 years of experience in research focused on the health and well-being of marginalized youth and families living in urban communities.
