Robert Klitgaard is a University Professor at Claremont Graduate University. He was formerly Dean of the Pardee RAND Graduate School and a professor at Harvard and Yale. His sixteen books include Co-Intelligence Applied: Thirteen Examples of How Generative AI Is Transforming Our World—And Ourselves, co-authored with OpenAI’s Deep Research (2025) and Policy Analysis for Big Issues: Confronting Corruption, Elitism, Inequality, and Despair (2023). His book Tropical Gangsters was named one of the New York Times’ Books of the Century.
